Ingredients: MEATLOAF
1 lb. beef
1/2 lb. veal
1/2 lb. pork
4 slices bread warm milk
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tsps. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pinch cayenne
2 well beaten eggs
1 cup chili sauce
2 TBLsps. butter
1 cup bouillonCombine beef, veal and pork. Soak bread in warm milk and drain. Put meat, bread, onion, seasonings and beaten eggs into a large bowl and mix, mix and mix again with hands. Form into loaf 2 inches thick and put in greased pan, leaving space on all sides. Bake in moderate oven (350) for about fifty minutes, basting with bouillon ever 15 minutes. Serve on platter in slices about 1 inch thick, with chili sauce poured around them.
