EASY PASTA SALAD

Ingredients:
9 ozs. pasta, such as butterflies, bowties or rotini
Creamy Dressing
1 tart apple
2 green onions
1 pickled cucumber
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup sour cream
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tsp. salad herbs 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce
8 ozs. smoked ham
4 oz. cheddar cheese
2 tomaotes
Parsley, for garnish

Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain. Rinse quickly in cold water. Let cool.

Peel apple. Dice, rinse green onions. Slice finely. Dice pickled cucumber. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream and garlic. Season to taste with salad herbs. Add apple, green onions and pickled cucumber. Rinse lettuce. Cut into thin strips. Layer on a serving platter. Cut ham and cheese into thin strips. Cut tomatoes into wedges. Put pasta on top of lettuce. Add ham and cheese. Drizzle sauce over mixture. Top with tomatoes. Garnish with parsley. Good served with French bread.
